Here’s what to expect when you get residential waste pickup services from ABC Waste

ABC Waste provides each household with a 96-gallon curbside cart for a scheduled weekly garbage pickup with no annual contract. In addition to that, you may also request a separate container for recycling purposes at an additional fee. Learn more about our recycling services. Our 96-gallon containers can typically hold up to 5 trash bags, or maintain the waste of 3-4 people per week.
ABC Waste operates as a non-appointment service meaning that your driver may arrive at any time on your scheduled pick up day. We highly recommend you wheel your carts to the street and place them curbside the evening before your scheduled pick up. This will ensure your waste is picked up with interruption.
Acceptable Items For Trash Pick Up
ABC Waste can only pick up household trash in our 96 gallon cans. We cannot accept construction debris, yard waste, paint, tires, or hazardous chemicals in our cans. We are not able to pick-up any type of hot ashes or embers. They will burn your cart if you put them in it, and you will be charged for the cart. Learn more with our FAQ’s.
Please do not overload carts; the lids must close completely. Waste left beside carts may not be collected. If you are expecting your trash can to be full, and will need to place items outside of your cart please call the office at 912-443-0127 as soon as possible. There will be a small additional charge for any extra trash or recycling. If this is a regular occurrence for your household, you may want to consider getting an additional cart to suit your needs.
How to Care For Your Cart
Your ABC Waste cart can be cleaned out with normal soap and water. Bleach may be used as well to help kill any additional bacteria.
